Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 12 May 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the provision of consulting services by Lirae ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Lirae

Lirae is a people process consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our registered office is at Level 10, Menara MBMR, Jalan Syed Putra, 58000 Kuala Lumpur. You may contact us at [email protected] or by phone at +60 3 2274 5169.

2. Our Services

Lirae provides non-regulated advisory, process design, and operational consulting services. Our work covers areas such as people process review, onboarding design, and operational guidance. Nothing in our services constitutes legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice.

Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees are agreed in writing at the outset of each engagement. The scope of work described on our website is indicative and may be adapted to meet each client's situation.

3. Website Use

This website is provided for general informational purposes. You may browse and use its content for personal or business research. You must not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or republish content from this website without our prior written consent
  • Use the website in a way that could damage or impair its operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or collect data from this website

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, structure, branding, and design — belongs to Lirae or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. Where we produce deliverables for a client as part of an engagement, ownership and usage rights for those materials are set out in the applicable engagement agreement.

5. Fees and Payment

Indicative fees are published on our website. Confirmed fees for each engagement are agreed in writing before work commences. Payment terms are outlined in each engagement agreement. We reserve the right to pause work if agreed payment terms are not observed.

All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes will be noted separately where required by law.

6. Engagements and Scope

Each consulting engagement is governed by a separate engagement agreement or proposal accepted in writing. These Terms and Conditions apply alongside that agreement. In the event of a conflict, the engagement agreement takes precedence.

We will carry out work with reasonable skill and care. However, we do not make any representation or commitment as to specific business outcomes, as these depend on many factors outside our control.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared with us during an engagement as confidential. We will not disclose client information to third parties without consent, except where required by law or where the information is already publicly available. Clients are also expected to treat any Lirae materials or methodologies shared during an engagement as confidential.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Malaysian law, Lirae shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability in connection with any engagement will not exceed the fees paid for that engagement.

This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law.

9. Third-Party Links

This website may link to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites. Links do not imply endorsement.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of last update shown at the top. Continued use of our website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
